Definition of personalized stationery

Any office supplies that have a personal touch added is considered personalized stationery. This could include the following:

company letterheads,

Business letters,

promotional pens

telephone pads,

school supplies,

etc.

The list is endless. Additionally, personal stationery at home could include:

greeting cards,

Invite to the party,

letters,

envelopes

other crafts for children.

If you did a search in your local phone book or an Internet search engine, you will find many companies that offer this service for a flat fee. There are even software packages that you can purchase to create your own designs for any paper stationery of your choice and then print them from your PC at home.

Involving kids in craft time is also a fun way to make your own personal stationery and can be done using stamps, both bought and made by themselves from potatoes, for example. By doing this, you can make personal greeting cards for family and friends or just something special for your children to keep and treasure.

You can also extend this to items like pens, keychains, mugs, T-shirts, mouse pads, and much more. How many times have you seen a pen or even a key ring with someone’s name when you were in the gift shop picking up a card? If you searched the internet, you could find hundreds of different companies that offer you these stationery items and provide you with facilities where you can customize them so that you can send them to a friend as a cheeky gift.

Craft fairs are also a great place to pick up some tools, tips, and ideas for your own stationery making adventures. You can buy personal stamps, with letters, phrases or patterns and there are a multitude of stickers to add to give that extra special finish to your greeting cards, whether it is for Valentine’s Day or birthday or Christmas.

Even messing with your email and word settings can allow you to have a different font or background type and the color options are only limited to your own imagination.
