6 cleaning tasks you can do in less than an hour

If you’re not a fan of dedicating an entire day or your entire weekend to cleaning tasks, you’re not to blame. You barely live to clean your house every spare minute you have, and you’re not supposed to. Cleaning the home should be a task in which you dedicate yourself with a clear mind of the benefits it brings. It should also be a task that you are well prepared for and ready to complete as quickly and with as little effort as possible.

Here are some tips to help you tackle household chores in less than an hour:

Spray Your Shower – If scrubbing the bathroom is your least favorite thing in the world, you should take the opportunity to spray your shower every time you use it. A simple mixture of vinegar and water works very well and protects against soap scum and hard water deposits. Imagine how much effort this will save you in the long run.

Vacuum the furniture: Every time you vacuum the carpets, you can also place the vacuum cleaner on your furniture. You can do this with the help of your upholstery cleaning accessory. Just lift the cushions and vacuum underneath. Do a quick wipe of the cleaner over other areas of the upholstery as well. It will hardly take long, but it surely counts as an effective way to reduce dust in the room.

Remove grease from kitchen cabinets – If you cook regularly at home, kitchen cabinets are likely to become sticky over time. To remove dirt, you must use a specialized cream cleaning product. Quickly wipe with a microfiber cloth and see how effective this solution is.

Clean the ceiling fan: One item in the room that is probably causing some clutter is the ceiling fan. If the blades and other items become dusty, the dust can spread throughout the room. To avoid this, be sure to clean the fan regularly. Use an old pillowcase to place over each of the blades so that the powder ends up inside.

Bring stainless steel back to shine: If you want a surface to shine again, mix a teaspoon of dish detergent with a liter of tap water. Take a microfiber cloth and rub the solution into the stained and fingerprint areas. Rinse with clean water only and dry with a clean towel immediately afterward.

Clean the windows: Use a microfiber cloth and window cleaner to make the windows shine. If the room has blinds, lower them and cover them with an old sock. Easily remove dust from individual parts. Lastly, you can vacuum fabric curtains and curtains to prevent dust accumulation on them.

By following these tips, you can greatly improve your cleaning routine. Not only will it be easier for you to tackle household cleaning tasks, but the place will be cleaner overall.
