Concerts take place at the Marcus Amphitheatre, which seats 23,000 people. The park is in prime real estate as it sits on the outskirts of the city and rests on Milwaukee Bay, steps from Lakeshore State Park and historic Third Ward. A beautiful structure that was built for worship in 1901 you can visit today regardless of your faith. Sporting one of the largest copper domes in the world, the structure is charmingly detailed from top to bottom. Even if you have been to Europe and visited the basilicas there, you will find this one to have a certain credibility and stature of its own. This is not the kind of place you can let your kids run around; you should make it a quick destination with the little ones or you can leave the little ones with a babysitter and enjoy a leisurely afternoon strolling around the Basilica.

It’s no secret that this place is more for the novelty experience than the food. Not that the food is bad, but you won’t find Wolfgang Puck in the kitchen. However, you may come across a list of other celebrities as they are known to show up from time to time. The spy theme is fun for both kids and adults. For children, there is a lot to see and play. For the adults, there is a dance floor in the basement. There are a lot of surprises here and I don’t want to spoil them. I will say that you better know the password.
