If you’re looking for an electric toothbrush that’s a bit more affordable than the Oral-B Series 9 and has some cool features, try the Philips Sonicare 4100. It has a small and compact chargeable travel case, seven smart modes (including one for cleaning your tongue), a built-in timer, a smart pressure sensor that turns red when you’re brushing too hard, and a replacement brush head subscription. Plus, it’s available in a few “fun” colors outside of black and white, such as salmon-like pink or off-white snow.

Colgate-Palmolive dominates the electric toothbrush market with 51% of electric toothbrush owners using their product. It is closely followed by Philips and Quip, a popular toothbrush subscription service. Nevertheless, younger generations are shifting from the traditional Oral-B model to more advanced and affordable alternatives. This trend is driving the growth of the electric toothbrush market.

Aside from affordability, other key factors that are influencing the demand for electric toothbrushes include their increased efficiency and effectiveness in removing plaque and reducing gingivitis and periodontitis.
