Nominated for 17 Emmy Awards in its short four-year span, In Living Color is widely considered the best comedy-drama show since SNL. Created by multi-talented star Keenen Ivory Wayans (the eldest son of a large and talented family), the 30-minute television show became an instant hit for the emerging competitor to the big FOX network in the spring of 1990.
