What is the difference between a psychic and a medium?

Do you have the gift of being psychic or perhaps you have not yet tapped into your natural talent? Every person has psychic capacity; some say it is our sixth sense. This can be developed by tuning in and improving your intuition or inner knowing. A psychic is an intuitive person who directly reads the energy of another person, place or thing, while a medium creates a connection between the material world and the spiritual realm.

Both work with the intuitive or telepathic senses of clairvoyance (seeing), clairaudience (hearing), clairvoyance (feeling), clairvoyance (tasting), clairvoyance (smell), and clairvoyance (knowing).

A psychic reads the client’s energy, tunes into the energy field around the body known as the aura. They receive information by expanding their own energy field to blend with the client’s. They can use palmistry, psychometry or work with tarot cards or crystal balls. Most mediums will also have a collection of symbols and an alphabet to help facilitate insight and insight.

The psychic or medium is highly tuned to receive messages or impressions on the plane of thought, emotion, purpose, motive, and inspiration to guide the client.

Now to explain more … a medium embraces an enlightened path of development, expanding and exploring his gift further.

This is a direct communication between a soul (our spirit) in the linear and another soul (communicating spirit) in the eternal, in other words, the spirit speaks with the spirit.

A medium will create a link or connection with the spiritual world; They can then share information or evidence about the spirit with the client. This becomes a beautiful healing between the client and the spiritual communicator. It is a truly cherished experience to connect with loved ones who have crossed paths and it is helpful with the grieving process and with the knowledge of the true existence of the afterlife.

There are different ways in which a mental medium expresses talents and specialized fields:

Spiritist medium: they belong to the spiritualist movement and are developed through spiritual churches.

Clairvoyant medium: a medium that has improved the ability to see.

Psychic Medium: A medium that uses all psychic abilities.

Spiritual environment: it is a description of being in communication with spirits.

There are different forms of mediumship. Mental, which I have already explained, and there is also trance and physical.

Trance mediums work on the principle of trance control by allowing the spiritual communicator to take control of the mind and body of the medium so that the spiritual communicator speaks through the medium. From varying degrees of eclipsed light to a deep trance, this is both a mental and a physical experience. The conscious mind is in a state of rest and the spiritual communicator controls the medium through the subconscious mind, thus allowing control over the body.

The connection occurs through a combination of the aura and the subconscious mind with the spiritual communicator.

Now let’s move on to physical mediumship. In most cases, this is an extension of deep trance control, involving manipulation of the physical system to reproduce ectoplasm, which is a hazy, cloudy substance created from the energy of the medium and the people in the room. The ectoplasm will allow a transfiguration of an image to appear on the medium’s face. When the ectoplasm is manipulated to spread from the body in a trumpet shape or similar shape, this is called a direct voice.

This session takes place in a dark room and the medium is usually placed in a closet. There will be reproduction of ectoplasm in large quantities, this can be affected by light and any exposure to bright light can create a risk to the safety of the environment. The spiritual communicator can also move objects in our physical world such as on the tilted table, levitation, tapping. When there is materialization of objects from the spiritual realm to our world, it is called contribution. When a medium moves an object using his mind it is called telekinesis or teleportation, something rare but amazing to witness.

I hope you enjoyed a brief glimpse into the amazing world of psychics, mediumship and beyond …
